Long Awaited Updates: The Life And Times

Hey Everyone,

The Mountain has been a buzz with activity for the last few months. Here are a few updates:

The Mission Orange have just returned from there two week West Coast tour in support of there brand new album "Seasick." They will be playing dates around the Northwest for the next couple of months, including this years FolkLife Festival in Seattle, May 25th, and are planning a mini-tour with fellow Northwesterners The Oregon Donor. They will also be appearing live on 107.7 The End FM Seattle’s “Young And The Restless” Local Program in late February. Along side the new Mission Orange album, Murder Mountain's latest release, a collective effort between MM, Clickpop Records and What's Up! Magazine is "Music From The Center of The Universe" a 20 Track, 20 Band Compilation album featuring some of Bellingham's best current bands including David Stray Ney, Thea Rosenberg, The Mission Orange and Bug Jerome of our own label and other awesome B'hamer's the likes of Black Eyes and Neckties, The Love Lights, The Russians and No-Fi Soul Rebellion. You can get the album at Everyday Music in Bellingham, at local shows or on Itunes, as well as other locations. You can also stream the entire album on LastFm.

The next release from MM is a brand new "Rockumentary" DVD titled "The Microscope Experiment," which includes 13 Local bands and was shot over the course of 13 Hours on one day. There will be a release party screening at Western Washington University on February 20th at 8pm in Frasier 4. It is a Free screening so make sure to come on out! We are currently filling up our late winter/early spring Recording schedule in our studio.
